Dr Elise Warren graduated with a Doctor of Medicine and Surgery from Australian National University in Canberra in 2015 and has since completed her GP training in Canberra, Cooma and Goulburn. Dr Warren has additional qualifications in paediatrics and emergency medicine. She enjoys all aspects of general practice with a special interest in child health, women’s health including contraception, sexual health and menopause management, as well as geriatrics. Dr Warren is able to conduct iron infusions, contraceptive implants and minor skin procedures. Outside of work she enjoys all things outdoors, particularly hiking, skiing and mountain biking.
Dr Asanga Bandara General Practitioner

Dr Asanga Bandara is a General Practitioner with more than 20 years experience in the profession. He is a Fellow of the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners and has completed a Diploma in Child Health at Westmead Hospital for Children Sydney. He is also qualified in diagnosis and treatment of skin cancer and family planning.His clinical interests include skin cancer checks and surgery, chronic disease management, and child & adolescent health. Dr Asanga offers a wide range of consults including pre-pregnancy counselling, menopause, men’s health, mental health, and care of the elderly. Dr Asanga likes spending time on family, gardening, nature and music in his leisure time.
Dr Yoo-Mi Kim General Practitioner
Dr Yoo-Mi Kim MBBS is an experienced General Practitioner with a special interest in women’s health, family planning including contraceptive device insertion and removal, antenatal care and child health.
Dr Enas Al Shahabi General Practitioner
Dr Enas Al Shahabi is a competent specialist general practitioner with over 15 years’ experience as a doctor. She is a fellow of Royal Australian College of General Practitioners. She also holds a qualification in practical dermatology from the UK. She is a certified yellow fever vaccine provider. Dr Enas is proud to gain a supervisor title for international medical graduates.
Areas of specific expertise are skin cancer detection and surgical removal, managing a variety of dermatological conditions , women’s health including IUD and implanon insertion and removal , antenatal care , contraception and infertility. Dr Enas priorities is patient centred care, patients satisfaction and excellent patient doctor relationship.
Dr Enas speaks Arabic at home and enjoys hiking.
Dr Roxanna Lane General Practitioner
Dr Roxanna Lane enjoys the diversity of general practice. She sees all types of patients, from newborn babies and children, to adults of all ages. Dr Lane puts a high value on patient centred care and works with patients to address their health concerns. Dr Lane has worked in GP Practices in Queanbeyan, Tuggeranong and Leeton and has also worked at both Canberra and Calvary Hospitals. She holds a Postgraduate Diploma of Child Health from Westmead Children’s Hospital and a Certificate in Emergency Medicine from the Australasian College of Emergency Medicine.

Darren Boardman Senior Psychologist
After starting working life as a mechanic, Darren went on to become a registered psychologist in 2004 and established his own private practice which he ran for many years. He then spent time in academia as a teacher and researcher before moving to Canberra to work in various roles in the public sector including working as a psychologist with the Australian Federal Police.

Jeanette Ryan Dietitian
Jeanette is the founder and principal dietitian at Live Better Nutrition. She is trained in the RPAH Failsafe diet, the Monash FODMAP diet and has also completed InsideOut’s eating disorder training and the Nutrition Plus fertility nutrition training.
Jeanette spent almost a decade at North Canberra Family Practice, leaving to pursue full time study to become a GP. Whilst continuing to study, she is returning for the second half of 2024 and is looking forward to seeing some of her previous patients, as well as new patients.
